Why did Direct Success, Inc. (DSI) apply for Drug Distribution Wholesale license?

We understand our clients needs. Small manufacturers approached Direct Success when the big wholesale distributors were too expensive for the small orphan drugs. The manufacturers also realized that the customer service for their small accounts was less than desirable from the large wholesale companies. At Direct Success, every client is important.

Does Direct Success have any accreditations or certifications?

Yes, Direct Success, Inc. has been reaccredited by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) for Drug Distributor Accreditation for another three-year term. When it was decided to move to wholesale distribution as the main business, we did not renew the URAC certification. However, the URAC standards for our pharmacy are still followed. Direct Success is also a Woman Owned Business Enterprise.

Why is VAWD/NABP important?

NABP’s Drug Distributor Accreditation (formerly known as Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributor®) is a resource for industry and regulatory bodies that establish uniform safeguards meant to protect the public health. Drug Distributor Accreditation plays a pivotal role in preventing counterfeit drugs from entering the United States drug supply and protects the public from drugs that have been contaminated, diverted, or counterfeited. This reaccreditation process required Direct Success, Inc. to demonstrate compliance to a comprehensive set of regulatory standards and best practices in safely distributing prescription drugs from manufacturers to pharmacies and other institutions.

Is it really an in-house or contracted out-of-the USA Call Center?

The call center for all Direct Success programs is 100% USA based. Our call center team members work in our New Jersey office.

Direct Success has fulfilled over 5 million prescriptions to patients nationwide. For four years Direct Success filled more isotretinoin prescriptions than any pharmacy in the USA. Why? Our call team worked hand-in-hand with physician offices and the patients to meet iPledge requirements and the strict fill dates for the medication.

What is the patient experience?

Excellent. Regular third-party surveys have been taken to measure the patient’s experience. Direct Success’ average score of 99.2% patient satisfaction. That includes customer care support from our internal call center, the prescription prep and delivery on schedule and follow up for refills, answers to questions, etc.

Why would patients get their prescriptions filled through Direct Success mail order pharmacy vs. their local pharmacy?

Cost, privacy and convenience. We save patients a trip to the pharmacy. All prescriptions are shipped in plain, unmarked boxes for maximum privacy. We do not accept insurance; therefore, we can afford to pass on the savings to patients through our pharmacy.

What method of shipping does Direct Success use and how long does it take to deliver?

Prescriptions are sent via USPS or UPS Ground. Once payment is received, the prescription usually ships within 24 hours.
